UCL Staff and Students can download software, including  NVivo, from the Software Database. Simply type in the name of the software in the Search box and Return.

First go to the Software Database and search for NVivo.

You will then be asked to authenticate via Single Sign on with your username and password. You will be presented with the following options and information:

General Information about the software and the manufacturer and supplier.
Licenses    The terms and conditions of use including whether the software can be downloaded,
Availability    Provides information about whether the software can be downloaded for personal use and if it is available remotely via Desktop@UCL Anywhere.
Downloads    This tabs provides the links to the download files for the various platforms the software may be available on and the license key.
Resources    This provides links to training materials that may be available online for the software.
Next, select the version you want from the Downloads tab:

Check the availablity of the software - in this case, NVivo 11 is available for home use on your machine and is available remotely via Desktop@UCL

And download.  The key for the software is given on this screen.
